Mads' Favorite Ads

Entry #2:  Dear diary, When I'm swiping through Snapchat stories and come across an ad, I usually close the app instantly because I get so annoyed. But today, I actually sat through a full five seconds and was captivated! 'Don't Test on Humans' The original ad was created by 'truth' the anti-smoking and more recently anti-JUULing campaign. As I'm sure my Gen Z and Millennial friends know, JUULs have swept the nation. JUULling has become a major issue, especially with younger populations. This ad targets any juul user with the main message "NO ONE knows the long-term effects of JUULing." But what I really loved about this ad was the use of cute furry friends to share the important message. The video introduces Mario the Sewer Rat, Doug the Pug, and Cupcake the Hamster who all bring awareness about this super addictive nicotine product. Entry #1 Hello internet companions. My name is Madison Wells. Your friendly, 20-something year old, kind of Millennial kind of Gen Z, marketing student.
